OUR HOUSE:

The house was built in 2007.  We are the builders and we take great pride in this house.  Every detail was well thought out for comfort and luxury.  All counter tops throught out the house are granite.  Tile work in each bathroom, kithcen and the floor in the house was designed as a show house.  From the 100+ gallon jacuzzi hot tub in each bathroom to the king size beds to the fresh cut flowers that will await your arrival, this house was made to enjoy a relaxing get-a-way on the garden island.

Aloha :)

HERE ARE JUST FEW OF OUR GUESTS:

3/02/09:  We stayed in one of the four bedrooms of this great vacation home. Just like they promised, we got to enjoy a in-room jacuzzi and wi-fi internet access (our main demands). Iris was super nice, and even forgave us for losing their keys while hiking (doh!). Overall, a great experience and less expensive than staying in a resort.

2/28/09:  Malulani is located in a nice residential neighborhood, an easy walk or drive to shopping and restaurants in Kilauea. The rooms are clean, new, comfortable, and the jacuzzi perfect after a long hike to Hanakapi'ai Falls.
Kilauea is in a great spot to explore the many fine beaches and sights on the North Shore. The communal kitchen (shared among the four rooms) might not be to everybody's taste, but we appreciated meeting other guests and getting tips about things to do.
Mahulani was easy to find even after a long plane trip from Alaska, and it's an easy drive (20 minute drive) from Lihue. For visitors who don't need a place right on the beach, but a short drive away, it's the perfect base to explore the North Shore. You don't need an overpriced Princeville condo.

2/03/09: I stayed her for 9 days and Loved it. It was way better than the place I stayed at 6 months ago when I was there. Iris the owner was so accomodating. Anything you need most likely she will have for you so thats awesome. The suite was so spacious from the bathroom to the closet space.. I will defenitely stay here again on my next trip.. Cant wait... Mahalo!!!!

To Hawaii vacationers,
My wife and I have been relying on Frommers for many years.  Just this past May we were vacationing in Hawaii and found a great findThat is very affordable to stay in while on Kauai.  Iris (808)652-0855 is the lady to contact for reservations at this beautiful Inn which
is located in Kilauea, HI.  This Inn is new construction with attention to quality and is comprised of four spacious bedrooms.  The Inn is
walking distance to a charming cluster of restaurants and amenities.
There is a wonderful restaurant, excellent fish market which is known for their Ahi wraps and a terrific bakery for fresh breakfast and coffee.
In addition, one of the best beaches called Secret Beach is just down the road.  Also down the road is the famous Kilauea Lighthouse.  My wife and I really enjoyed staying in Kilauea because this town is quiet and ideally located between Hanlei Bay and Kapaa.
Iris, her husband Adam and their children live in a house just next door to their Inn and are available to make your stay perfect.  It's nice having the owners next door for your service while having the Inn to yourself for privacy.  The Inn has plenty of room for many guests and the kitchen and living area is very comfortable.  There are private Jacuzzi tubs and a laundry room for the guests.
Next time my wife and I visit Hawaii we are going to stay the entire time at this Inn
located in the Kilauea town which is managed by Iris.   I strongly encourage anyone to review this place to stay and we bet you will be very happy
to experience such a great location.
Very truly,
Patrick.
